apartment!
we’ve been approved for an apartment. the first (and only) one we applied to! AND it’s super cute… nolan hasn’t actually seen it in person yet, ‘cause he was working the day i looked at it, but i took a video and showed it to him. he’ll see it tomorrow when we go over and sign the paper work. dad is selling his condo, and we were told we needed to be out asap...

No, not new episodes. But Firefly will be airing on the Science Channel, in higher definition, in their intended order. This will mark the first time Firefly has aired on a distributed cable channel since 2008, when it ran on USA Network.

Today I won FOUR WHOLE DOLLARS! My co-worker didn’t believe me when I told him that hot milk curdles when mixed with certain berry flavors… so I bet him four dollars he couldn’t make a strawberry steamer without curdling it.

New job!
I’m not great with words.
I’ve been in Portland for two months, and I’m finally employed. I got a job cashiering at the hospital up the hill. Actually, the day of my orientation, Nolan went in for an interview and landed the same job, so soon we’ll both be employed. I had my first shift today (on second thought, yesterday… but my sleep schedule’s so damn fucked...
